| I do not really know why I am doing this. Probaby to put off going to sleep. For some reason it's been hard just going to bed. I fall asleep just fine, but it's like I keep having energy and I don't want to have to put my day on hold in order to lose consciousness for a few hours. Oh, well, just another human weakness. On the off chance that anyone actually does read this, I passed Spanish, and am still trying for a co-op job. I really need to buckle down on that last one. Working 32 hours this week, unless I can get Monday off, plus going to school and doing two marketing projects in a row. Sigh. Oh, and Brooke (my sister) went to Spain over spring break, and got to experiance some culture. Woot for her! Apparently, blondes are very rare there, so she got hit on alot. I got a new dog, named Lola. She's a black lab/border collie mix. She plays catch, and in tug of war she shakes hard enough to actually cause damage if you try to resist it. I can't wait for SG-1 and Atlantis to resume. QTD: You're taking biochemistry as a freshman? That's hot! | | |
| Wow, so long since I have updated. Well, I am only two days out from finals, and then Christmas break begins. Woot! Fuel center is good, so much better than the Deli. Thanks for your prayers. Now just pray that I pass Spanish! | | |
| Well, today, the sulfur pools in hell froze over, and swine learned the art of flying. No, unfortunately, I did not get a girlfriend. That would involve the Sun going nova. I did, however, succeed (with God's help) in getting the next most important thing in my recent existence; I got a new job! That's right, next week I begin my job in the petroleum business. In other words, I got a job at the Fuel Center. Pray for me and wish me well! QTD: "If I do not believe in God, I cannot believe in thought. Therefore, I cannot use thought as a reason to deny God." - C S. Lewis | | |
| Hey, anybody want to go to the Ren. fair at Sedgwick County Park with me on Saturday? I have to work on Sunday, but it is also happening on Sat. if anybody wants to go with. | | |
| Well, I finally started the process to get an internship in the co-op dept. The bad news is that most positions currently open are unpaid, and, big surprise, my parents are trying to get out of their promise to pay for my finances while I do it so that I don't have to try to hold down two jobs and go to school full time. Yeah. I need a break from craziness. I hope and pray that I can get a paid position, and if worst comes to worst I will just say screw it and start applying now for a position for next semester. Hmm, maybe I can get a job on campus, and work only a little bit during the day? Hmm... | | |
